North County Guns and Ladies Shooting (GALS) Clinics

Women Teaching Women

Guns And Ladies (GALs) organizes shooting clinics taught by women, for women. Meet new friends and learn a sport you can enjoy for a lifetime.

We want to encourage, educate, and mentor women to learn firearm handling skills in an atmosphere that is SAFE, comfortable, non-threatening, and FUN.

The program is made possible because of donations from the Friends of the NRA grant program.

GALs attendees are introduced to the fundamentals of safe gun handling and coached through their "First Shots" with live ammunition. Once "First Shots" training is complete, ladies participate in a variety of shooting events using shotguns, pistols and rifles.
